A downloadable game for Windows

It's basically the matrix. But not at all. But it is. But it's not. Okay it is.

An upgraded version of the original Global Game jam 2017 game.

Hope you guys have fun with this incredibly stupid game.

Now only needs 1 controller, the first player uses mouse + keyboard.

Hello SimbaDdsa. I really enjoy this game. I was wondering if you would possibly provide me the project files so I could edit it a little bit for myself? I'm just getting into using Unreal engine & I'm a huge Matrix fan.

Thank you.

Hi, thank you for liking this stupid game. but unfortunately I can't share the current version since it has a lot of copyrighted content & also include some assets made by my friends. I have the old project here and upgraded it to 4.25. Most of the basic functions are working and you can edit it any way you like. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Pi-ceDBcu1mZp3L56BMdtw4Qeb4QqWtT/view?usp=shari...

I am also learning unreal, feel free to email me any questions you might have! simbaddsa@gmail.com

Thank you for sending me this. I'm not great with the editor (spent a lot of time trying yesterday). I would love a first person sandbox game like this set in like a downtown area. Maybe with a keybinding that slows down time & the ability to run part way up walls and flip. Stuff like that. Let me know if you are interested in building something like that. I would be willing to pay some for it.

No problem! I am sorry I may not be able to do that for you since I am only a programmer and still very rough on the art side of things. If you open the editor there should already be an first person template for you to start. and it shouldn't be hard to build a downtown area if you have all the models for the buildings/roads/etc. Slowing down time is also very easy (unless you are trying to build an online multiplayer game, in that case, it's ultra complex). But the wall run is going to be a huge task: you need to figure out what is wall and what is not and how to control it and stuff, then you need to figure out how the camera is going to work to not disorient players.

Anyway, I'd love to answer all the questions about how to use unreal and how to build certain functions, there are also tons of tutorials on YouTube. So if you are stuck, just send me an email and I will either tell you how to do that or point you to an video that may help you do it.

Cheers!

I like.
